Feel free to download them. I make this brush set for all of you who love Fantasy Art mostly with the oil brush painting brush stroke. I put 9 brush set that you can use for your Fantasy Art, and 5 (CSP Original) brush so you can use this brush set easily. Make illustrations, manga, comics and animation with Clip Studio Paint, the artist’s tool for drawing and painting. All you need for drawing and creating digital art!

Everybody loves to play with brushes in Clip Studio Paint. Today, I’ve compiled 30 different sets of brushes you can download for free from various places on the web.

I’m not making any claims as to how good these brushes are or how best to use them. That is left as an exercise for the reader.

But if you’re looking for some new tools, here’s a bunch that won’t cost you a nickel. It won’t cost you anything to experiment with them. You will notice a certain sameness to many of them after awhile, though.

Remember: You’re better off learning to be a better artist than to accumulate brushes, as tempting and as much fun as they can be. Your ultimate goal is to be able to make the brush you need when you need it. But I get it — this stuff is fun!

Pencils

  • Blue and Red Pencils: For those who like traditional non-repro and editing graphite… Here’s why.

  • Typesprite Brushes: A good beginner set of pencils, brushes, and pens, really.
  • Red juice’s Brush Set v1.0 (I like the denim brush)

These are brushes that create images, really. Some of them are limited, and some of them might be indispensable to you in the future. Who knows? If any on of these sounds like something you can use, then here you go:

  • Matt’s Coins Collection: Of extremely limited use, until you score a gig drawing a “DuckTales” comic and want to out-do Geoff Darrow on a money bin shot.
  • 75 Lace Brushes: Very useful for you fashion gurus or Howard Chaykin wannabes.
  • Foliage Brushes: Focuses on a more painterly style.
  • Another set of Foliage Brushes: Has a couple painterly brushes, but also a pen and ink foliage look.

  2. The Export (Single Layer), Flatten and save to device storage (Galaxy version only), Export multiple pages, Export animation, and Export vectors functions are unavailable.
  3. The Batch process function is unavailable.
  4. The following features related to importing are unavailable: Batch import, Continuous Scan, and Select Scan Device.
  5. The Print Settings, Print, and Corner store print functions are unavailable.
  6. The Copy, Cut, Paste, Paste to shown position, and Copy vectors as SVG (Windows/macOS only) functions are unavailable.
  7. The following features related to registering materials are unavailable: Register image as material, Template..., Register sub tool as material, Register color set as material, Register set as material (Auto-Action), Register workspace as material, and Change material settings.
  8. The Change material settings function is unavailable.
  9. The following features related to page management are unavailable: Add page, Add page (details), Load page, Duplicate page, Replace page, Delete page, Combine Pages, Split Pages, Change basic work settings, Change basic page settings, Group work, Edit text, and Sort page file names.
  10. The following functions related to file objects are unavailable: Convert layer to file object and Paste as file object.
  11. ComicStudio work files (.cst), Clip Studio Storyboard files (.csnf) cannot be imported.
  12. OpenToonz scene files cannot be exported.
  13. Remove tones (Technology preview), Colorize (Technology preview), and Pose Scanner (Technology preview) functions are unavailable.
  14. The following exposure sheet settings are unavailable: Export exposure sheet, Import exposure sheet, Apply Toei Animation Digital Exposure Sheet information to current exposure sheet, Load changes to Toei Animation Digital Exposure Sheet, Toei Animation Digital Exposure Sheet settings, Toei Animation Digital Exposure Sheet Path Settings (iPad only).
  15. The Quick share function (iPad/iPhone only) is unavailable.
