Page 1 of 2 - Can someone please upload the Falloutdefault.ini - posted in New Vegas Technical Support: I changed some things and forgot to make a backup.the game has been acting weird since and I want to put things back to the original settings its the Falloutdefault.ini file for fallout new vegas.thank-you to whoever can help me out. Do not confuse fallout.ini in /my games/Fallout 3/ with the falloutdefault.ini in your fallout game folder, DO NOT edit falloutdefault.ini) the INI file can be overwritten if you use the normal fallout launcher. You can stop this if the launcher does not run as an administrator, and you set the ini to read only by right clicking the ini file. Step 1: Go to the “My Documents My Games Fallout3” and search for a folder titled “Falloutprefs.ini”. Afterward, find “bUseThreadedAI=0” within the contents of the file and try to reset the value from 0 to 1. Step 2: In case, you didn’t locate the “bUseThreadedAI=0”, then add “bUseThreadedAI=1” in a new line.
- 3) windows explorer hides known extensions by default, so FALLOUT.ini will appear as FALLOUT 1) my fallout launcher dosent even come up. 2) i looked in the correct folders and i know. 3) I know that, the FALLOUT file isint there.
- Once you are there, you will drop the FALLOUT.ini file into the folder. If there is any file that says.baked or.base remove them. They are from vortex. First time starting the game you should not mod. The only files that should be present other than FALLOUT.ini are FalloutPrefs.ini and RendererInfo.txt. Also your save folder.

2. After you download it and try to run it, it will probably tell you to run the game first as Fallout.ini has not been created yet.
3. Go to the Fallout 3 games folder. You will find a file called Fallout_default.ini . Copy it.
4. Go to DocumentsMy GamesFallout3 . You will only see the FalloutPrefs.ini file there.
5. Paste the Fallout_default.ini and rename it to Fallout.ini
6. Now, place the G4WL disabler in the Fallout 3 folder (with exe in it) and run it.
7. It will do its thing and afterwards also make it move the DLCs (if you have any) as well.
8. Run the game. It should work.
